Tree Field A –  THORPE

This field, situated on an old roman site was planted in 2011 and 2012 with native and budded stock. This site has good loam and is suitable to grow nearly any variety of tree.

Tree Field B – FARNDON

This is a 13 acre field and has been planted in blocks over the last 6 years with a mixture of native and worked stock. It has light, sandy soil and grows Sorbus and Prunus amongst other varieties.

 

Tree Field C – SYERSTON

This field was planted between 6 and 7 years ago with a mixture of native and budded stocks. This field has light sandy soil and grows Betula, Sorbus, Carpinus and Acers to name a few.

Tree Field D – SWALLOWCROFT HILL

This site was planted in a three year span between five and seven years ago. It is heavier land and grows Prunus, Aesculus, Castanea, Carpinus and Birch amongst others.

Tree Field E – SWALLOWCROFT BACK FIELD

This field was planted in blocks between 2003 and 2010. It is heavy land and we grow more native varieties such as Fraxinus, Quercus, Carpinus and Salix here.
