Acer cappadocicum – Coliseum Maple
A medium to large, vigorous tree of a spreading habit with bold bright green leaves. The leaves have 5-7 lobes ending in slender, tapering points. Often bronze or red when young, the leaves turn to an attractive yellow colour in autumn. The tree bears small clusters of yellow flowers in spring.
Soil: Clay, chalk/limestone, light sandy.
