Acer davidii – Snakebark Maple
A small to medium tree with arching branches and green bark on the main trunk attractively streaked with white. The oval, mid to dark green leaves, un-lobed or with 2 small lobes with taper-pointed tips. Leaves often turn orange or yellow in autumn. Pale green flowers open in drooping clusters in spring.
Soil: Any well drained, fertile.
Aspect: Full sun or part shade.
Suitable Locations: Sheltered positions.
