A vigorous, medium sized, deciduous tree with a dense symmetrical rounded to oval crown. Leaves are glossy, 5 lobed and dark green turning yellow and orange in autumn. Clusters of fragrant, yellow green flowers on bare branches in spring, followed by green fruit.

Soil: Moist, well drained. Chalk, clay, loam or sand. Acid, alkaline or neutral.

Aspect: Full sun or part shade.
