A medium sized deciduous tree with a compact rounded crown. The leaves are palmately compound with 5 to 7 dark green leaflets. Panicles of deep pink flowers appear from late spring.

Soil: Thrives in all soils.

Suitable Location: Gardens, avenues, parkland.

Other: Pollution tolerant.
