An attractive medium-sized tree with a conical habit when mature. Graceful, finely cut grey-green foliage and yellow catkins appear in early spring. Both the stalked buds and the young twigs are sticky to the touch. Tolerant to hard surfaces and withstands hard pruning.

Soil: Thrives in all soils, but prefers damp ground.
