Amelanchier ‘Ballerina’
A vigorous small tree with bronze tinged young leaves which turn orange and red in autumn. Relatively large white flowers are profusely borne in short erect racemes in spring, followed by small red berries, turning deep purple in summer.
Soil: Moist, lime-free, well drained. Acid or Neutral.
Aspect: Full sun advised to achieve best autumn colour, but will tolerate part shade.
Suitable Locations: Wildlife gardens, city or courtyard gardens.
