A round headed, medium sized deciduous tree with narrow green leaves on arching branches. The flowers are white or pale pink that open from crimson buds in spring, followed by red and yellow fruits in autumn.

Soil: Moist, well drained.

Aspect: Full sun and will tolerate part shade.

Location: Cottage/informal gardens, small gardens and parks.
