Malus tschnoski – Pillar Crab Apple
A vigorous, narrowly conical, medium sized deciduous tree with green ovate leaves, turning bright ornage, red and purple in autumn. The white flowers open from pink buds in spring, followed by greenish-yellow, tinged red fruits in autumn.
Soil: Moist, well drained soil.
Aspect: Full sun, but will tolerate part shade.
Location: Small gardens, cottage gardens.
Other: Tolerant of pollution.
