A medium sized, spreading tree with dark green, taper pointed and sharply toothed leaves. In early spring, deep pink coloured buds open to pale pink, semi-double flowers, up to about 4cm across, with yellow anthers in the centres.

Soil: Will grow in most, well drained soils.

Aspect: Full sun. Exposed or sheltered.
