A delightful small tree with shining, smooth, amber coloured bark. It has a narrow, conical head of upward sweeping branches and attractive green leaves. Small bunches of fragrant white flowers appear in April, followed by small black fruits.

Soil: Moist, well drained soil, but not wet.

Aspect: Full sun.

Suitable Locations: Urban sites, gardens, avenues and parks.

Other: Pollution resistant.
