A spreading, medium sized, deciduous tree with profuse, pure white double flowers in pendulous clusters, followed by small reddish fruit. The leaves are green, turning to shades of orange and red in autumn.

Soil: Prefers chalk/clay soils, but will grow well on most well drained soil.

Aspect: Full sun. Sheltered or exposed.

Suitable Locations: Woodland, gardens, wildflower gardens and meadows.
