A medium sized, upright tree that is columnar when young, but fans out with maturity. It has pink-bronzed leaves that turn orange red in autumn. Single, soft pink flowers bloom in spring.

Soil: Moist, well drained soil. Chalk, clay.

Suitable Locations: Urban sites, small gardens, parkland and restricted spaces.
