A small deciduous tree forming a broad crown of arching-pendulous branches, with ovate leaves which turn orange and red in autumn. Small, single flowers open pale pink from deep rosy pink buds.

Soil: Moist, but well drained soil.

Aspect: Full sun. Sheltered or exposed.
