A striking, spreading, medium sized deciduous tree with glossy green leaves ending in long tapered points. Deep bronze red when young, the leaves turn to brilliant shades of orange, red and yellow in autumn. Pale pink coloured flowers, up to 4cm across, open in clusters in mid spring.

Soil: Will tolerate most well drained, but moist soils.

Aspect: Full sun. Sheltered or exposed.

Suitable Locations: Gardens, parks and streets.
