An upright, medium sized, deciduous, oval-shaped tree with a light, open canopy of green, feathery, finely cut leaves, which turn to shades of orange and red in autumn. In spring, clusters of small white flowers, which attract bees and insects appear, followed by orange red berries that are loved by the birds.

Soil: Thrives on most well drained soils, including acid ones.

Aspect: Full sun or part shade.

Suitable Locations: Woodlands, parks, gardens, urban sites.
