Sorbus auc. ‘Sheerwater Seedling’
A medium sized, deciduous tree with a neat, upright habit. It has fine, compound leaves that are blue-green, turning to yellow in autumn. In spring it bears clusters of small white flowers followed by orange-red fruits, a favourite for birds, turn bright red with age.
Soil: Thrives on most well drained soils. Prefers acidic soils.
Aspect: Full sun or part shade.
Suitable Locations: Gardens, avenues, urban sites and restricted spaces.
