A neat, upright, medium sized deciduous tree with glossy, fern-like, sharply toothed green leaves that are attractive throughout the season, turning to shades of orange and red in autumn. In spring, white flowers appear in clusters, followed by bright yellow berries.

Soil: Grows well on most well drained soil, but not shallow chalk soils.

Aspect: Full sun but will tolerate partial shade.

Suitable Locations: Parks, gardens and urban sites.
