An upright, medium sized deciduous tree with green pinnate leaves that turn yellow in autumn. Individual creamy white flowers appear in spring after the leaves emerge and form dense clusters, which attract pollinating insects by the sweet scent.  Orange red berries follow the flowers in autumn and are quickly eaten by birds.

Soil: Well drained acidic or neutral soil. Loam or sand.

Aspect: Full sun or part shade.
