A broadly conical, medium sized deciduous tree with dark green leaves deeply cut into pointed and toothed lobes, turning yellow, red or purple in autumn. Clusters of white flowers appear from the late spring to early summer, and these are followed by small, russet-brown, speckled fruits.

Soil: Grows well in any moist, well drained soil.

Aspect: Full sun or part shade.
