Sorbus vilmorinii
A small, spreading, deciduous tree of graceful habit, with fern-like leaves divided up into as many as 25 small, glossy, green leaflets, grey-green beneath. Clusters of small white flowers appear in late spring or early summer, followed by deep red fruits that ripen to pink, then white.
Soil: Grows well in most types of soil, but prefers well drained acidic soils.
Aspect: Full sun.
Suitable Locations: Gardens, parks, urban sites and restricted spaces.
